This small dragonfly silhouette is a very fine and superbly successful, bravo the look, beautiful picture.

The flash is only used to produce shadows, and it has done its job. The embarrassing, was a strong light that has just left and that creates the burning on the side until the dragonfly. It would have taken you move a little to the left, and would reflect more on the subject.

Your program action (5) does not help you, by pushing the ISO to 400 and with the flash and more, it's damage. The beast is burned, it must pass macro if your camera allows and certainly without flash. : 11:
