Very beautiful image, full of poetry due to the name that emerges and also the fuzziness that surrounds it. Bravo

Very beautiful quality of shot. This goal is formidable and we can see the result here. I use the same each time it is needed, especially in night shots. The advice you have been given are a good idea. thank you.

... and that is the fixed focus lens of 50 mm open here at f/1. 8 that allowed that . A new acquisition without a doubt.

Yes Joel, my son has offered me this lens... there are 3 years ! I don't servais almost never, and then the president of our club was explained to me : when to use it ; and now I use it regularly, especially in the meetings of the families to do portraits without people noticing, and I like the rendering, because there is the person on which I do the development that will be clear, the mask will be blurred, so this is great because the 'subject' stands out much more. (it is always necessary to focus on the eye closest to if the person is 3/4, for example). Otherwise, in this case, I wanted to bring out the essential elements... It is the opening 1. 8 makes this possible. Here it is, my mumbo-jumbo is finished, I hope that it is understandable ?

Tries a day and you will see !!! Which has a click in my lil ' head, it's that I have seen the photos of a professional do it at a wedding in the church and then to the wine of honor, and I found these portraits excellent, I remember a woman taken in a row of church with people sitting on each side, it had, in addition, a great expression, an emotion in the eyes it was absolutely magical ! We forgot all blur that was around this face ; I would even say that it was all over.

Very nice control of the dof. In addition the sheets are well-lit, and the unit of tone is pleasant, .

you're right I think that the person who has transcribed the date has mechanically repeated the '6' year of birth. Great find hazel Grouse. It should be reported !

Thank you Cathy appreciate this photo. I took a lot of fun at this visit ! Look at the response that I made to Hdeledicque in regard to the anomaly of the date

The 50 mm is very well suited for this photo The sharpness is well managed on the name of the author. The colours are pleasant.
I also think that he died in 1684

Thank you Hélène for your comment. I got the answer this afternoon, I met the librarian that was constantly for the heritage days, she told me that these sheets were very very old and at that time they did not have the 'means of information' that we have today. The library of the Prytanée date 4 centuries, desired by Henry IV !!!
