Mallard duck 01

Author 'WebMaster FEI' A voir (Id 105251 ) : What's more classic than a mallard duck and yet I find that with this close, we have a different attitude from what we usually see. Besides, I love the background obtained through the snow .

He took me over five years to comment on this portrait very realistic, detailed, and fun of this duck, mallard talkative more... Bravo and thank you. You're right to recall that there are nuggets in the galleries... is up to us to discover !

This duck is in the middle of a conversation... Seen as this, one would say 'Tataillé', the puppet, who was preparing in the following second to turn her head to the ventriloquist that the anime ! for this shoot very spontaneous.

Pity that the sharpness is not as on the mouthpiece. The picture was perfect.

Nice little saturnine, eye bright and cheerful. The blur of billed bothers me a little, I shall have liked slightly sharper, but the construction is good: we will immediately look into this.

I do not usually dwell on the photos that I "like" not there but I can not since it appears with a thumbs up: 11:! This is an analysis of "novice" While shooting unusual set but the picture is of poor quality of the uncertainty which prevails on the main topic: 12: I know you're capable of good better: 4:.

+: True, it is a little different ... the eye is clear but I am a little frustrated to its beak ...

-:The frame is too thick for my personal taste ...

By Jove, what a head! It is almost frightening! The picture is very successful and impressive. : 6:: 6:

+: While there, beautiful photo, as soon as I saw it I thought "Saturnin", the little duck from my childhood.

-:I like the least responsible enough color "sharp", foliage or other property would have liked, but perhaps it was not the place for. Thank you for the beauty of this little duck.

It is true that we have rarely seen a duck that way. The eye is bright, the colors stand out well on the snowy background. The beak blur does not bother me, however, because this is my light freezes on what I believe needs to be clear, namely the eye. Very beautiful portrait: 4:.

Just make this picture remarkable one. I really like this close, it is so clear and the duck seems chat.

At the outset I am attracted by the clarity and tone of the photo and laughing through the nozzle in the mist and yet something bothers me, the blur on the back of my head, I think. The set is nice: 18: Happy New Year, Mrs. Colvert.

: 3: Thanks for this beautiful image. Is it possible to have others on the subject of various birds and tropical birds. Thank you: 1:.

The extreme accuracy of the depth of field brings out the eye of the mist: 2:: 11:. The field of minimal sharpness gives great strength under the duck. Not easy: 14:! I like art: 3:!

It is to chew your duck, so to speak because he is awesome and I just want to protect it.

> Nathea >Reply Jan 16, 2010
A tornado blurred with us to cross his eyes, I feel that this is ... THIS LITTLE EYE Almost strength: 17: the whole is pleasant, attitude and his "smile" nice, thank you ... sharing a nice overall texture: 17:

The shooting of a duck in another profile still disturbs me a bit because of this damned depth of field that we always hesitate between the beak and eye, the choice of the eye is always wiser but I still regret that little beak blur. . as you've never EXIF data on your photos: 14: I assume that this focal length you were fully open?

F / 5 1/320s ISO: 1000 300mm (without multiplier for once). With such a lens, if the animal is really close (which is the case here, thankfully it was not a lion: 19 :), it is impossible to have clarity on any topic (unless it is held perpendicular to me but it was not). But I think Blur is used to facilitate the eye to focus on he always looks first on a photo of person or animal to know the eyes. And normally the picture is more simple to read and the better it is. So the depth of very limited scope does not bother me.

I agree Bendulot on this depth of field, a little too small for my taste at the front of the eye. If the light goes away to look super clean, he then went on the diagonal of the beak and runs the vagueness that allows only guess that beak open. However the picture is still a pretty picture. : 18:
