Author 'Jacques.marcandelli' A voir (Id 89246 ) : A very geometric manhatan (the twin towers were still there ...) seen from the deck of Brooklin very beautiful with its many steel cables. New York has already been seen many times but it is still magical to visit.

Beautiful composition, the hardness of the landscape 'very geometric' being transcended by the view through the spider web of the bridge.
The pedestrian street in a beige, wood-it seems to me, and the character dressed in an assortment of colors (a scene ?) humanize the whole. To compare with the photo linked on which one sees only metal and concrete.
It lacks the precise date of the photograph is taken.

It is a wooden walkway for pedestrians and bicycles. The cars move beneath, so it is quite noisy. There are views pleasant of Manhattan seen from the underside of the bridge in Brooklin but as we were walking and the bridge is super long we have not gone farther than the middle. For the date it was in 1995 : I had rented a car in Montreal and I made a circuit Montréal / Ottawa/ Toronto / Niagara / New York / Boston / Quebec city and return to Montreal. This is not complicated to ride in the USA, and apart from the parking it is not (too) expensive.
