Marc De Meilhan Common Sandpiper 38300 Etang De Da
Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 193179 ) : Bird wader, common sandpiper genus belonging to the shorebirds, and the family of scolopacidés. This small wader, rivers, swamps, is also recognizable by its shakings of the head and tail when he wants his food. With its long beak end, he knows how to find in the mud, swampy soil ; small larvae, insects and worms. It feeds also dragonflies. This bird was photographed on the pond Dardes in the department of Isère. I was far enough away from him, especially for a bird that weighs about more than 60g and measure between 20 and 30 cm. The Sigma lens 70-300mm (450 mm) with case for Sony 37 in priority of closure, focal length (F/9, exposure time 1/250 seconds have done better. Ph : Marc de Meilhan Butcher.
