The slope, the slope of the land will give, perhaps, an optical effect paradoxical to some... I think, for me, that everything is relatively good, acceptable, and even suitable for a photograph that is intended to be reportage : it will not take away, however, the branches top left, which are the charm of the image and which have the effect of narrowing the main subject in its place. This photograph was taken at Crémieu in Isère (38), but more particularly on the hill of Saint-Hippolyte. There are two hills on which constructions have been built in the Middle Ages, they are : The hill of Saint-Laurent and the hill of Saint-Hippolyte where the cliché now. Ph : Marc de Meilhan Butcher.
