Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 189416 ) : Chaffinches. Impossible, for me, to approach more closely these wild birds... (I don't have a garden to tame them) I do not know, in spite of the lookout, if I get there. Because it is in addition to the chance to photograph a close-up when on the lookout I monitor my den at fox... ph : Marc de Meilhan butcher.

Best Wishes To Manu. As you say though, it's not easy to get close to the small wild... as Soon as something unusual is in their places, they are excited and begin to fly in all directions and then eventually from... To approach it would be a true disguise of a hunter of images, the mesh of the head to the feet and a net, wait for a few hours at the same place, etc, You see it's not easy at all. Thank you for your comment and I hope you started well the year 2013 ; I'll want in any case ? !... Marc.

From a photographic point of view, the ideal is to take them in their environment, in full nature, but it is a difficult exercise. So, when you can install a feeder, it is easier . Here, you took a low angle (not rewarding) and the top one is hidden by the branches and lack of net. The other is steeper, but has a part of the body to the sun and the other in the shade. But at least, this is a photograph spontaneous

Indeed. In nature yes, but more wild than elsewhere and they know that there will not necessarily be a small crumb of bread or seed... The garden is the ideal... indeed. I took the birds on the edge of the wood with great wind. They were at least more than 10 meters in height with a light that I had right side and was spinning to the west... A is masked by the branch (the wind) and then focus on the one below it... so not necessary to have two birds while net. He had to at least give a vibe here of a photo of nature that wants to be, in my mind, always perfect... (Not evident outside and in the wildness of an area where man is only the presence of a coincidence...) Thank you and good afternoon. Marc.

Not easy to get close to all these wild beasts. You have done well to take advantage of it while they were in range of the NPC. Thanks for the photo Marc.

Obviously, the Gipsy, that it is not easy to approach... us, they have 'bangers' of the back of the saw at the speed that they déguerpissent as soon as you approach them... I often think of the photographers, FEI located in Canada that are able to take birds in the hand. A told me that back home they are pampered, protected and well-fed, therefore, most familiar, and by the thousands (such as toys) in the host of the walker photographer. Thank You, Marc.
