I like the comment of the photo, but it is not blackbirds, but many starlings. I photographed impressive flights of starlings, the sky was overcast. Thank you for your beautiful photographs of birds.

I've often seen 'Blackbirds' and 'Merlette', but like this, never ! As I see, this is the time of the meal. Damage to the background.

Nothing to say about the photo itself, or on the other. By contrast, the 'merlettes' are actually starlings !

Zawio, I maintain that what are the merlettes. I have pairs of robins for several years stored in my attic. I also have étouneaux, which are much smaller and do not have these tasks... These merlettes are much larger than the starlings...

These are not merlettes, you insist in your mistake and that's a shame. These are starlings

Hello ! I'm not an expert, but these birds looks more like the starlings european as blackbirds or merlette ? Finally, females are so different from males then this is not always obvious...
Reply of the Moderator: Thank you zawio and at any time on the Forum for that debate. I am inclined to agree !
