The Flying Fortress F-AZDX is a B17-G built by the have blue prototype-Vega in December 1944.
There are approximately 12 B17 in flight condition, including 1 in France 'The Pink Lady'.
The crew of the B. 17 was composed of 10 men whose average age was 20 years of age.
Front to back : 1bombardier, 1navigateur, 2pilotes, 1mécanicien, 1radio, 2mitrailleurs side, 1mitrailleur ventral and 1mitrailleur tail.
Each man was equipped with a combination of electrical heating and a thick outfit in skin of sheep returned. He was wearing a parachute harness, a life jacket, an oxygen mask, a headband with earphones and throat microphone (microphone), plus possibly a heavy duty headset and a vest, spall because the plane was not pressurized and was flying very high (1000m) at very low temperatures (-45°).
