Mesangedsc02180 1 Blue tit

Author 'Patjoe' (Id 107859 ) : A small blue tit hungry coming feast of fat balls made available. I have in my garden, chickadees and other birds, but what harm to take them through the window and then they move all the time. There I went to feed them and I took the photo outside, but I did not dare get closer.

You know I love chickadees??? This one is particularly pretty and the position is unstable for me but not for her! Her little legs are so fine ... Kisses to you. My-yang

Thank you for your response Patjoe, balls of fat does not bother me, it's finally a way to feed birds in winter, and also take the opportunity to photograph them. Then the image quality, composition and presentation will make a good or bad. My goal is to show and help when I can, what they need. I've been there myself.

I appreciate all these comments, and advice that you make. Nenfer13 thank you. It's not as easy to make a good picture, sometimes we act in haste and when you do not control really well and we miss. And we are disappointed! So to improve, we actually need people who have experience like you who agree to help us. Thank you. Joëlle

+: A photo of a bird is always beautiful to watch.

-:Everything has been said already. And also I would say that the image looks a little left. With the weight of fat balls in metal container, it should be very vertical.

Nenfer13 thank you, I just saw your editing is great! Thank you for your advice and for taking the trouble to show me an example. The fat balls are not very aesthetic but tit takes more space and you have cropped and is therefore highlighted. Thank you again. Joëlle

+: The posture of the bird is great pity that this crib kill a little because the natural colors of the bird were well made.

-:The framing and sharpness are improved. Generally full length should be close (f / 8) if the image is very soft ...

Ben thank you for all the advice. With regard to open the door is not always easy as you say. I followed the steps to follow the link for sharpness, I do not know if it's right or wrong what I did, if it improves ... It is true that tripod is better. The posture of the tit I liked that is why I took it with grease and balls as I was out ... I'm usually on a woodpile where I put the seeds. It is located 2 meters from me. Other posts of "meals" are only food for birds and not to pose photo. Thank you to consider my photos and give me your skills.

A crop would further enhance this chickadee could also add more clarity. Even if they are approaching the winter homes, they are not easy to approach.

Ben thank you for your suggestions, I'll try. What I think bothers me most to take a picture of it the glass. I have generally done with but they are becoming less shy so hopefully before winter get my bird photos. I look in the forums how to make it clearer without damaging the image. I'll find. Thank you again. Joëlle

This is not always possible but to take pictures of my tits, the window was ajar just enough to let the camera (which was on a tripod). I just support when a bird came to rest next to the food. The report references page in a forum thread on the sharpness.
