Metro Chatelet in 1905

Author 'Spiros' (Id 191187 ) : An old post card, yellowed by time, sent to Levallois-Perret on April 21, 1905, when the Paris metro was brand new and was inaugurated entries every month.
The image being classified under 'photo collage' you can imagine that the photo is not so old as that. So look for anachronisms.

What a joker you are doing. So in 1905, not vespa, not a car as the one on the right, not atm,
The women were not dressed this way. Thank you for this little game.

The parking meters ?
The pedestrian crossing ?
The street ball ? (on the wall)
The traffic lights on the left ? And we don't see the steps to go down !
Here
I like the old photos !!!
And why mom has written in front and not the back, there would be nothing knew for the package, (if it is a coded message)

Hello, Grandma it was very in the time : people end up on the front what they had to say or what they forgot to say when there was no more room on the other side... If you're dragging sometimes in thrift stores, you can see on the stands of postcards for collectors.

The line Châtelet was not yet placed into service in 1905 ?

You're the strongest, but it is necessary to push you.
There is no line to Châtelet, he spent 5 subway lines and 3 lines of the RER commissioned between 1900 and 1998. This single entry has been inaugurated in 1908.
I just posted a montage with the pictures initials where everything is explained.

But no, it is not necessary to push me, I only left the other play In all cases, EIF is in a period of mystery, reflection, one is grown and all the information on the metro are
Show me that, you are also the strongest and will therefore finish the work on my last photo-mystery : it is a bit - what am I saying ! A metro ticket - to be unveiled but the whole world revolves around...

It is almost like if some details were not period, but the treatment and presentation are well done.

... The metro map as it is presented here, the sign, the marking of street names, window frames pvc, the hedge without a doubt... I leave that up to others, congratulations for this photo that calls out, Spiros, the more beautiful she is.

You are very strong to recognize pvc windows. You have found the anachronisms that I had not noticed but you forgot the most important one.

The line 4 on which is found the Châtelet station, the first station to cross the Seine, was built in 1905, the first cabinet had to be laid. Assuming that it had existed at the time the coating perspex would have been an anachronism, it was in 1927 that the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), commercially known under the names of plexiglas and altuglas, appeared.

My comment is very incomplete, or even wrong... 5 metro lines pass by Châtelet :
- Line 1 opened in 1900
- Line 4 in 1908
- Line 7 in 1926
- Line 11 in 1935
- Line 14 in 1998

This subway entrance was so in 1905 as part of the line 1.
In regard to the anachronism major, refer to the coating of coverage that may be not precisely of the plexiglas in the end.
What puzzle your photo

You forgot the three lines of the RER.
For the in-service date you're right, l ? Entry was built in 1900 for the line n° 1.
But I have reason, too, because she had disappeared and has been rebuilt with identical in 2000 for an input of the modeled (see address attached).

The scooter, the initials of the post office, the distributors of the bank, the tags, the car, the bag worn in the shoulder of the woman, her clothes... if there are other anachronisms, I guess by the other ! What nostalgia that these old cards written on the front because there was no more room on the back... Thank you, Spiros.

I am influenced by your photos mystery, but my riddle is very easy, there is an impressive amount of anachronisms. You have still not found the most important.

Lumixane found the rest, or does it still look ?

Of course it must look, I have left details to better hide the essential.
