Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 212766 ) : Presentation (prior to archives, collections, antiques) of the Gallo-Roman Museum located in Saint Romain en Gal at the edge of the Rhône, but in Vienna in the department of Isère also 38200. This Museum was completed around 1996 and has a surface area of 12 000 m2. It was made by two architects : Philippe Chaix and Jean-Paul Morel. The museum of iron and glass is built on stilts to preserve the remains of a large house, Gallo-Roman. It offers fabulous views of the Rhone river and the left bank of vienna ; on the Gallo-Roman site (dated to the 1st century before J.-C.) outdoor, as well as the magnificent collections of historical and cultural that it keeps.
