Although Nice original (I left MY city there are more than 60 years old) I don't think I have ever been to Tales of which I knew the name of course. Perched on this headland, the village would have been infinitely better if the elevator had been a little more discreet. Useful no doubt but a few plantings to conceal would not have failed to put an additional charm.
It is nice to make the promotion of his 'nest', even if this is not an eagle's nest !

Thank you for coming to see this picture and filed this comment. Actually this lift is really very useful, but it is poorly integrated into its environment. Yeah, so you left the Nice very young, I do not know if you returned there since, because there has been a lot of changes.

The new 'beast' will be a good companion I'm sure. I understand better the site using the answer that you do Cathy. I thought it was a cable car to lead the faithful to the church. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Jofu for this kind and thoughtful comment. I made this photo in a hurry because too much of a hurry to try my new APN, then I would have to wait until the cabin is actually up. I had made a photo where you can see the cabin, I'll post in my gallery, you will be able to go and see it if you want.

Thank you Catherine for coming to see this photo and have filed a comment. 300m altitude only, but 100m higher than the bottom of the village. It is a lift that can be seen, it was installed 3 years ago approximately, and it is very useful, because walking uphill is difficult when one has more than 20 years.
