Hey yes ! The earth is in rotation. This is the reason for the 'bafouillage' of the moon. To avoid this use a high sensitivity (e. A. 800 ISO) and if possible a equatorial on foot for the catch-up of the earth's rotation. As to the star, this is not one of them but the largest planet in the solar system : Jupiter. Tip : the stars twinkle, not planets. This being said : nice 'conjunction Jupiter-Moon', but... perfect.
