I love them but unfortunately they are in danger, then they disappear protect them! A little tired in our garden, without fish, allowing them to reproduce! If you live near a forest, there are still more likely to accept: how a pool with a tarp or other, about 20 cm depth, rain water and aquatic plants as it on the leaves of those above that females will lay their eggs. It's nice to see that a lot of people love these little creatures!

Really ... It seems really shining, seen here ... It is equal, what joy to discover a bug hitherto unknown to me!

: 1: Hello. The picture is very nice: bravo. I came to do a little tour here because I just moved into a village house and what was my surprise when I came here there was in the cellar, several of these small lizards. I found 2 dead, completely 'dried': 10: (poor little things) and another yesterday evening but it is alive: 4:! I have no idea where it may come. problem is, what to do with ... I am not too eager to back into the cave and find as the other 2. Outside the remit ... It risks getting caught by a bird or a cat ... I did not keep enough so ... What to do?

These newts moving mostly at night. They are climbers. If you want to keep in captivity, you must have a cage that you held closed or they will escape and you will have a hard to find in the house before they die.

Should learn, but I think these newts are not sold in specialty stores. To them, we must stay awake at night and go to them. (see other photos of newts, I am the author of several).

Beautiful picture of this triton, it seems that we see less and less. A little more contrast, clarity, side stone would be a plus.

> Géna >Reply Mar 14, 2008
It is round and the Triton ! A little more contrast and a little cropping would allow to occupy the strong point of the image.

Take especially not in your hands... Some red spots, dry skin, it must be contagious . There is a very large stone to the right. The retouching is to be taken into account. But thank you for making us discover this little beast looks really cool.

The sharpness is a little lacking on the triton, a more contrast and crop it for the main subject.
