Well. For the ladies of course. This red flower blood is also like a hymn to our fathers, who perished on the battlefields. There, it worries a little. I like the blur rear, which puts the flower in evidence.

Hello, and thank you for your encouragement, I too love poppies, and I note that there are more pictures that have been very successful, I am very small and still very humble...
I have a lot of work to do... but it seems that you progress quickly with the advice of the Feïstes !!!

Hello and welcome on FEI, Grouse
I join with the Web and France in their comments. I would add, just that I would have seen a portrait format (with centering allowed in this case: (18: ) to direct our gaze on the subject. You'll quickly make progress, you'll see

Hello Isabelle, not being familiar with the site, I don't know if I've responded, in any case, I thank you for your very good advice, I will try to apply in the next taken... To soon.

Hello Hazel Grouse,
For a first shot, it is rather promising...
You will see on Eif it is progressing very quickly.
+ Your focus has been made on the subject.
- It would have been better not to center the subject.

See you soon for other pictures...

Thank you for your comment and the link about the rule of thirds that I'll now try to apply on my next shots.

Welcome among us.
The background is well blurred, which is perfect to bring out the flower. The focus on the flower does not seem to nickel.
Attention in the photo close-up or macro, the focus is played to a few centimeters.
The upper part of your background is brighter than your main subject. It has the potential to disrupt the spectator's gaze.
A few suggestions to keep in mind when next taken.
