Nice Sunset On Mont D'or 01

Author 'WebMaster FEI' A voir (Id 65877 ) : Sunset on the Golden Mount (where the dominant orange).
Another evening on the previous picture where I was lost in a thick fog worthy of a night in london.
Under the sun, the lake of Remoray right next to the lake Saint Point for the village, I hesitate. If someone who knows well the area, could we say...

For such beautiful pictures, I live in the plains. Burgundy and Alsace regions are my favorite. Web superb image of the birthplace of my step-mom: 6:: 3:

One of my favorite pictures in your gallery. It's really beautiful colors are fabulous. The sun is well placed and light admirable. The topic also pleases me greatly.

This photo is really beautiful, it is breathtaking and lose the head -: 13:. However, I regret that there is a framework, it makes the landscape unreal and the impression of the infinite, no longer quite present.

The lake of Saint-Point is also known as the lake of Malbuisson. Malbuisson is also a village and it may be that you are looking for. This village overlooks the lake in question and, in addition, it is known as a summer resort. Proposal risky, not knowing of all the corner as well as Lumixane. But I will have tried, you have to tell me if my searches give me reason. In any case, excellent panoramic photo !

This photo of the Haut-Doubs is a wonder to behold and the sunset gives the whole a brightness very soft and comfortable.
Knowing all these villages, and following the comment of Anne - THANKS -I am walking again with happiness.

If I coupais more of the first plan, we would not have seen the Mont d'or on which I am and that is somewhat the central theme of the photo.

NB: In the 'similar Photos', it seems to recognize one of your photos .

Has the right, at the bottom, you can see Vaux and Chantegrue.
At the horizon, in the middle, the Mount Poupet de Salins.
In the valley, in the foreground, Fourcatier - New House. In the middle is the station, Longevilles, and the gorges of the Fourperet.
On the left the first houses of Rochejean. From behind, the lake of Remoray and it seems to me see my parents... to which I have just sent the link to your photo, they will welcome me to join them, you do honour to the region ! This is beautiful.

Small question to you who seems to know everything about the region, where officially (and not a touch-up orange in PhotoShop) this appellation of Mont d'or ?
 > Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply
Jul 23, 2008
The former would say that the appellation is due to the golden color that envelope the mountain at sunset (when he bothers to get up...) Other explanation : many sources everywhere, water equal to gold Still a bit pulled by the hair to this explanation, it is not the water that is lacking in the area... that said, I continue my investigation because I am still a bit frustrated with these vouchers ! I need the GOLD !
