Obelisk And Ferris Wheel

Author 'Lumixane' (Id 190035 ) : There was not many people on the place de la Concorde on this day after Christmas, but an interesting insight. The big fir tree, in the spotlight this year, is out of the field on the right, I'm just telling you about it anyway 35 m, surpassing two meters height of the obelisk.

The numbering system decimal to astronomy there is only a step, and I crossed as this image seems to me to be rich in interpretations.
Io is a moon of the planet Jupiter and the name comes from the ancient mythology Greek that the astronomers of the 17th century were familiar with. She was a mistress of Zeus (Jupiter) and to punish Hera (Juno), was transformed into a cow.

Yes, the lighting is very nice... it 'talks' straight away to the photographer ! Well seen, Lumixane !

The ferris wheel, which seeks to impose itself as the star of the picture, but the Obelisk, and it will keep its place . A talented look and flawless presentation. Bravo Anne and thank you.

Hello Anne, two beautiful geometric figures of this wheel, and this 'pencil'. One has the impression that the wheel will go hunting the 'pencil' to stay in the limelight. It is pretty.

The day after Christmas-day, as the people, had the air of having a hard time getting up if the indicated time is the good it's done dark A look original on this set, on which everything has been said, what can we add after this if not

It is true, Lou feignassou said everything except the most important one in the eyes of an accountant.
The two figures are integrate to form the number 'ten', the base of our numbering system, invented by the arabs, we are talking about a lot at the moment. Moreover, the obelisk is egyptian and Lumixane often goes to Dubai.

The 'ten' but of course the obvious, how is it that Wolf has not reported... I have to admit that I had not been challenged. Proof that it was necessary to have a training element for the meet.

The ten, as I noted implicitly by referring to the binary form, the basis of the encoding computer, a succession of 1 or 0, each of the letters or figures being defined by a combination of 8 characters (8-bit).

In the binary system the symbol '10' is the number 'two' 'ten' is written as '1010'.
The decimal system is so internalized that we don't think, unless one is an expert accountant, a few people know that it was invented by the arabs.

Nice framing to have the obelisk and the ferris wheel well done bravo and thank you

Lou Feignassou broke loose ; what can we say more ? For Giscard and Barre I was a little hesitant but now I understood. He would have been able to add the sword and the shield, the rigidity of the straight line and the antics of a perfect curve,... I had never seen the obelisk from this angle. It is a pleasing picture, which, seen well, can be the object of different interpretations.

A photo symbolically binary, the o and the i, the round and the pointed, Laurel and Hardy, Giscard and Barre, the baritone and the soprano, the loquacity marseillaise and the coldness prussian, rolling stone and who rubs there pricks, the sauterne and the muscadet wine, asparagus and grapefruit, the minaret and the dome... otherwise, I better understand why I tried the other day to cross the place to bike in the direction of the seine, it is a true false flat on this one, I agree with Charly, otherwise j 'would, perhaps, leave a little more space to the left of Depardieu, uh of Obelix, a sharp mind in a round body (a coron in Germinal)

I find that this face-to-face silent a side of surreal, which appeals to my imagination. The wheel does the peacock to seduce the beautiful Egytien ? Or down-t-the time that passes in front of the needle which gives the top in each round ? In any case, I think that the spruce tree would have disturbed this couple mysterious.
> Perronnet Catherine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 21, 2013
interesting face-to-face : each believes to be the most beautiful and the most majestic. In fact, they complement each other perfectly.
> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 21, 2013
A beautiful image of this huge wheel , more than 115 feet when even. It gives the vertigo such a wheel.
> Charly [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Jan 21, 2013
Nice composition that is balanced between the curve of the wheel and the straightness of the obelisk. Attention, Anne ! The wheel may come out of the image : it leans to the left.
