One aspect of the capital of the German porcelain

Author 'Perronnet Catherine' (Id 235379 ) : The town of Meissen in Saxony is famous for its porcelain of great finesse. I also liked the architecture of some of its houses. Judge for yourself.

Curious image, while the diagonals and repetitions. The icing on the cake, the little bell tower in the distance.
Well seen, bravo !

You have found the right angle of view with the original house with its bricks, and the small church at the bottom I also have a few pieces of Meissen porcelain mottled here and there

This is different from Britain, but very nice anyway ! Thanks for your time Marie-France.

Joliii ! With the small bell-tower at the bottom ; original architecture, in fact, the brick is in the spotlight. Is it a church or home, because it was like a bell tower whose peak is hidden behind the tree ? Beautiful angle of view.

The bell tower is behind it and is not part of the building in the foreground. These are simple buildings, but it is the effect of geometry that I liked, and the opening on the church in the background. Thank you for your interest.

This geometric architecture of the roofs makes me think of a table of a naïve painter, and more specifically Charlotte Lachapelle from the Lot and this is thanks to the excellent framing of the photo. Bravo Catherine.

So, I went to educate myself on this painter that I didn't know : you're right and the colors are bright as his own, but less variety. I saw that she had painted the market in Arcachon. Thanks for your visit and this discovery.

You make us appreciate these roofs by your shooting, I would see this in a cartoon. Good diagonal.

Not bad the idea of the cartoon with characters tiny dévaleraient the various staircases and a fast music ! Thank you for all Domi.

Not to give the lie to Joel, I said that you had the eye. Great photo of this original architecture, very well framed.

A big thank you Ninik, even if Joel gave you a bit of forced hand !

Not at all. In general I have to remind you that the views could be better adjusted, whereas here it is perfect.

> Jofu [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jul 20, 2017
I knew about the Meissen porcelain, the less its architecture. The red bricks and white joints formed with the tiles a harmonious whole, following more of a diagonal of the image, . Ninik said, you have the eye, :the 18:.

Thank you Joel, but it is 'Josy' and not 'Ninik' who made me this nice compliment ! I liked the thoroughness of the German figures coupled with a bit of originality. The small church in the distance was pleasant to me also.

The Meissen porcelain works of art, at a time when I was going to the auction rooms I was always in admiration in front of these works. The architecture does not lack charm, a beautiful shot

Hey, this is fun, I also had a period of china intense and the porcelain of Meissen were one of my favorites. At the time, there are a couple of years, we could still find beautiful pieces for price, let's say reasonable, now it's finished ! Thank you for your interest.
