One aspect of the cloister of St Guilhem le Desert

Author 'Perronnet Catherine' Vote for the best photo (Id 237292 ) : I recently revisited this beautiful village of the Hérault and this time I particularly admired this part of the cloister where reign peace and quiet. I am appreciative of these architectures of a great sobriety.

My gloomy soul sees that the hallway dreary, certainly cultural, of the existence with at the end of the perspective, that of the improbable pardon of the alms restraint . I've been there, but I was too footsore to release the avalanche of pixels.
Thank you Cath for having done for me.

Although non-believer, I love the atmosphere of serenity and spirituality that emerge from the cloisters. The more I admire the outstanding work of the architects and workers of the time. Their arcades are always aesthetic and perfectly balanced. I also appreciated the location of the symbolic of the cross in the end of the walk, and I imagine the religious walking towards her. Thank you for your interest.

Good idea to have chosen this vertical format, it allows us to see interesting things about the architecture of this cloister. The flash has done its effect, the bench stone is a bit collapsed. crossings of the natural light to give shadows and it attract us towards the bottom, maybe a bottle of good wine hidden at the end of the time corridor. The renovation inside has to give work, I like this cap is in 2 different parts, it is nice that the baroque style. Bravo Cathy for this shot, which changes in night clubs. This photo gives you a memory. Good weekend.

I love these places that require reflection. You have placed the cross which becomes a focal point.
For two days I will be in the same place.

I know that you like to collect in these places and, although I am not a believer, this doesn't surprise me so much that they exude a sense of serenity and balance.

Me too I had already visited 35 years ago, but in the summer, so too hot for me. I more enjoyed the beauty of the place this time.

A good framing for this perspective, which leads to a background brighter.

It was a great dynamic nor simple nor easy to manage, but the result is good, bravo. (TB)

Thank you Danièle for your interest. However, in my opinion, I have no other photos of drinking, but I can't send a MP for you to see another aspect of the place.

A beautiful perspective in the midst of this architecture is sober and solid. The dark parts are not 'bites', no clear area is 'grilled', it is and so there is a good balance between the parties more or less well-informed. It was not insured at the start with this type of lighting.

You know my opinion on my abilities as a photographer, so I have to say that when I saw the result, I said to myself that there had been a miracle : in this place, it may be justified ! Thanks for your compliments.

I love this kind of simple image, nothing comes to hinder the reading of the main subject, and your shot takes us to I know not where ? A lot of calm but also of solitude

I also prefer the simplicity in the photos, but I find it hard to get there. I admit that here I'm pretty happy with. Thank you for having enjoyed and having said.
