Author 'Gontrand62' : I discovered this orchidee, for the first time in the swamp of beuvry, my preferred playground. Ophrys apifera is pollinisee by solitary bees (including several species of eucere) but not by social bees (as the bee domestic). The plant attracts the insect by producing a smell that mimics the scent of the femelle1 bee. In addition, the labelle behaves like a decoy that the male bee confused with a female.
