Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 155638 ) : : 5: Otocyon (Otocyon megalotis) "A fox that has the ear," that English speakers call the "fox-eared bat," uses its big ears to locate its food. He paces the savannah head down and ears directed towards the ground looking for insects, as some termites tunnel underground. When it detects a noise, he stops, turns his head from right to left and vigorously scratches the ground to capture prey. He added to this system primarily insectivorous, fruit and small vertebrates. The Otocyon is a carnivorous mammal of the Canidae family which his regime is likely to insectivorous carnivore. It weighs more than 5kg for a size of 40cm. It has a longevity of 14 years, gestation of the female and 2 to 3 months, its habitat is Africa in the Savannah. : 6:
