Panorpa communis or fly scorpion

Author 'Isabelle S.B' (Id 201227 ) : Good evening
I haven't too bothered, with my macros this year. Although less productive, I've done a few. Have you already met fly a scorpion ?. It is an insect quite common in the spring and summer and which does not go unnoticed by its facies.
Here, it is the male, recognizable by its abdomen in the shape of claws of the scorpion. Don't worry, it is harmless. The panorpe loves to feed on the flies and does not disdain to find sustenance on the corpses of small animals

As always, very aesthetic with this beautiful blurred green of spring, and of high quality : framing, sharpness. This fly gives me the creeps, with his cock 'harmless', however, it has wings wonderful that you offer us all the details.

Impressive this critter ! Never seen by me. Your picture is remarkable, a big one I am appreciative of this green background apple, have you played on the colors or is it really natural ?

Very beautiful macro superbly presented. The sharpness is excellent and the composition of the image with soft colors. I posted me a recent photo of panorpe but taken from another angle.

On the thumbnail I saw a ladybug resting on a kind of butterfly What a funny creature, and even if it doesn't look very friendly, and presented so beautifully with your care, it does not lack pace

Thank You Candy
Yes, we don't have to be ashamed of our bridges. Bright bridges, and compact

> Jofu [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 11, 2013
Still a gem 'on a topic repetitive' (I quote) done without a reflex It is always impressive sharpness. It seems that the bug probe, the vacuum before leaving his perch. Very beautiful macro .

Thank You Joel
There, you're wrong ! There are only 27 panorpes on the site, so not so repetitive that it . And then, there are beautiful repetitive made with real and fake devices (I quote myself) while as taken, which are innovative, but sometimes poor .
Good November 11 in the rain (it leaves time to make comments...).

> Jasmin [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 11, 2013
It is superbly sharp and well put in value by the framing and the background blur.
