I have the same orchid, the picture is very successful: we see all the details. Now you have to take photos of birds and try to ensure that your photos are perfect, try the hummingbird.

The orchid is too tight, and the sudden flash is very visible ! You could do it by taking it from a greater distance and without a flash !

I find your picture very nice, but I'm not a pro so who is right ??? If you redo your photo with the tips mentioned previously, I want to see to give me an opinion and to know if they were right !

A pretty flower that framing too tight and the face doesn't value. For the flash, even critical that Aralserge. I expect the same in better conditions with impatience.

OK with Flowerjlf for the full face, but especially it is the flash or direct light which kills the photo. If you can do it in front of a window, approximately 2m-2.5 m from the source of light, the flower will be more mild and less harsh light. (No flash). Also removes the background to eliminate the shadow.(I'd like that, but I don't have science infuse).

This presentation front-end is not very rewarding, it seems that it is the dentist, the more the framing too tight and shiny.
