Papillon Tircis On Leaf Dry F

Author 'Charly' A voir (Id 69240 ) : A butterfly fairly common, the tircis. The latter, after a long pursuit, was placed on a leaf of iris dried by the sun. Yet iren extraordinary. Then a passage in HDR could maybe make the photo less ordinary ? Why not

I don't know if are my eyes or the photo, you can see a little deformed ! It seems that the proportions have not been respected in the cropping ; that said I walk out of the optician. Very clear and nice to look at

No fault of the crop, since it is done by giving the dimensions in pixels with the crop tool of photoshop.
Might be an optical effect due to the shooting of 3/4 of the topic or problem of the... The optician.
Thank you for your comment, as well as those of other members.

The Tircis (Trimming aegeria) is a butterfly that one encounters everywhere in the fairways forest, on the edge of the wood and very often in our gardens, where it searches the corners of shady. If disturbed, it flies away, made a few metres, and sits a little further, and he posed willingly for the photographer. His wings are brown and are dotted with spots fawn-coloured, more or less clear. At the end of the forewings, there is a black ocellus pupillé of white highlighted on this wonderful photo, very sharp and well framed. Beautiful

> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 13, 2008
Harmonious colours, beautiful sharpness, extraordinary sharpness. A small reserve for the framework which overloads a bit in my opinion
> Nicole.barberon [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Sep 13, 2008

Beautiful shot, very pleasant to contemplate even if the framework is surprising, but it's nice
> Marcel >Reply Sep 13, 2008
A good decision ! The net is well placed, the warm colors of the support fit well with those of the butterfly. Good image. +++.
> Shark.69 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 13, 2008
Your photo is maybe not so ordinary as you say, because looking at, we can see that the animal is placed on a leaf whose 'adorning' is close enough to his colours brown and greenish, rings, reminiscent of those of the insect.
> Jean-Luc F. >Reply Sep 13, 2008
Variation in soft green and brown, and in addition a superb photo of the butterfly with very good sharpness, a nice attitude and a frame top
> Heuzeja [G] [P] [C] >Reply Sep 13, 2008
This treatment is carried out in a remarkable way, is expected to receive many votes.
> Le fan belfortain [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 13, 2008
The butterfly 'Tircis' (Pararge Aegeria) is a excellent sharpness and in a posture that allows the detailed. The environment protects it from the predator. The framework, incorporating the colors of the photo, may come as a surprise. Personally, I find it sexy and appropriate. A photo for my favorites for the moth, but also for the presentation : bravo Charly and thank you.
