Author 'Momjade' (Id 163993 ) : At the official opening of the rural exhibition was Buenos Aires, Argentina, it was lucky to be sitting on the side shading the track, which allowed photos without the Sun in the eyes. The following riders in red crawling on white horses.

Wow ! They are pomponnés, the bellots !!! Tell me, the red ribbons, it is for decoration or because they 'bottent' ? (it is a custom in riding, a horse that 'tape' = that kicks, they put a red ribbon on the tail to warn the others not to come !) Very nice picture...

The horses of the 5th cavalry Regiment 'Colorados del Monte' of the 1820 wore a ribbon knotted up, which was part of the costume/uniform red. In my photo, the ribbons are untied.
