Passage of English Castle

Author 'Ghislain' (Id 217404 ) : During the 100 years war the English troops secured the services of local brigands to monitor their border edges of the Lot. It is as well that we called the tow-path 'Passing English'. They erected this small castel in Bouziès to contain the possible incursions of the French. Nowadays the village of 77 inhabitants live a sweet torpor.

The place is Bouziès on the Lot river. Under the photo there is a map that you can view in a big way. For history please refer to the 100 years war.

Very nice landscape ! These rocks to the beautiful colors of ochre overlooking the river are beautiful. A nice little spot that I have yet to discover. Thank You Ghislain.
