Peacock day

Author 'Crabecanoe' (Id 116088 ) : Tuesday, July 14, 2009. SOUBISE Gateway Lille (59). Lying on top of the railing, I watch the ballet of butterflies from landing on the buddleia. My patience has been rewarded and I suggest peacock. This butterfly is part of the family vanessas. Thousands of people pass by without stopping all swept away by the whirlwind of modern life. I try to have a little eye of La Fontaine.

Thank you Spiros for appreciating and noted that photo. The gray background corresponds to the concrete floor below the bridge. See you soon for other photos. Cordially. Marcel.

: 1: Thanks for appreciating and Linette rated this photo. The eyes of the butterfly are ocelli. This is a trompe l'oeil to discourage predators. Good luck and see you soon for more photos. Regards. Marcel.

When a butterfly landed and remains motionless for a few moments, you should take advantage. Pretty colors for this insect and its support.

Good morning. Thank you for appreciating and rated this picture. The butterfly peacock is a fairly easy day to photograph. The photo was taken in summer 2009, now I have great difficulty in finding. Bonne continuation. Regards. Marcel Morel

1: The tiny flowers of 'Buddleia, also known as Tree Butterfly' (Buddleia davidii) attract many butterflies. The 'Peacock' (Inachis io), although a little focus: 18:, is magnificent in his sharpness and his bright colors. Crabecanoe Bravo and thank you. 3:

Thank you for the nice comment. The photo was carried arms stretched supine on a railing. That day there was a little windy and the flowers of buddleia move constantly. I took a small lull in the wind and the butterfly that came to lay before me. The gray blur corresponds to the concrete floor of Gateway SOUBISE (terrace). This photo is from a selection of fifty photographs taken at the same place. I stayed there during posted over an hour. My only concern is to show either the birds or butterflies, or other issue of Nature. Regards! Crabecanoe

+: What's better than a tree to attract butterflies butterflies: 16:: 18: the peacock is beautiful. Its position allows us to appreciate the beauty of its wings and its original colors. It is much more clear. Your shot is good. 4:

-:I made a horizontal symmetry for easier reading, the gray background. Nevertheless, your macro is successful.
