Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 151980 ) : White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) is a species of bird of the family of pelicans. This bird is found in southeastern Europe to Asia. It frequents shallow water areas: wetlands, ponds, etc.. It nests in a nest which it makes heaps of branches in a tree. The pelican can measure 160 cm long with a wingspan of 280 cm. These two Pelicans were taken far enough in the ecological reserve of Villars-les-Dombes in the Ain. Marc Boucher said Meilhan.

Hello Nicoledesplat. It is not always easy to make a good shot of this white bird ... white is hard to take anyway ... Especially if the subject is far more. The Dalmatian Pelican is easier for a sharpness in photography: because dark plumage that 'captures' the many lights and shadows ... In any case, good, not too bad despite the distance.
