This pheasant appears to be a 'Pheasant venerable' (Syrmaticus reevesii) that are not encountered in France . Would he have escaped ? It seems to me that he wore a ring on the right leg and the feathers of its tail were shortened. These are questions that I ask myself. This, of course, takes nothing away from the beauty of this phasianidé whose colors are as gorgeous as they are varied. Beautiful photo despite the environment... : bravo and thank you.
