Very nice photo and pastel colors very nice ! What is less clear is the name of this insect : It is the very popular Fly to m... !!! I would advise, therefore, to use the latin name of 'Scathophaga stercoraria' much more class !

Very uncertain about the identification of this fly to the beautiful colors, I think it is not a question of the 'Dryomyse yellowish' but rather the 'Fly shit' (Scathophaga stercoraria) in the process of completing its meal by the dessert . Bravo Denlig and thanks again to the author of this remarkable shot.

This macro of the fly is exceptionally clear and well put in value sue a background of yellowish green ideal. Under all reserves, it could be the 'Dryomyse yellowish' (Dryomyza flaveola) A wallpaper of beauty : CONGRATULATIONS Pat83 and thank you.
