Photo Of Charencon Weevil

Author 'Amateur' A voir (Id 68381 ) : What to say about this photo, that this weevil so nice to the eyes measures only 5 mm , and I am amused to take a picture because I love the world of all of all small

I advise you to make a rule to make you aware of the actual size of this weevil.

The macro is wonderful, of sharpness even if you don't use the foot which makes it often interferes more than it helps
The luminosities are excellent.

One of the most successful pictures of insects which the portrait reveals the existence unknown to most of us.

Wow, this is not surprising that this little beast is wreaking havoc wherever it goes. How impressive wrong! : 4:: 6:

Amazing !
I was far away from me to imagine that such a monster could infest my rice, my bread crumbs !
Your picture is extraordinary in sharpness at such a magnification, discovery of an unsuspected world, BRAVISSIMO

A strange animal, never seen it, this is not my cup of tea but there should be something for all tastes.

Thank you to all the world.
I always achieved my macros without tripod (no monopod, no tripod )
For the flash, it is a pentax AF 280T, but not an annular

Beautiful macro of this insect tiny. We can, at our leisure, admiring all the details. Bravo and thank you for the present.

We can only say bravo, it is beautiful, the sharpness is surprising. In addition, I discovered this insect.

Most weevils have a long snout well highlighted on this admirable photo) extending the head where you insert the mandibles. The antennae are inserted on the snout. We found the weevils on the majority of terrestrial plants and aquatic organisms. They are the largest family in the animal kingdom. Superb shot of this insect

A big bravo, work of a pro and please do enjoy.

> Le fan belfortain [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Aug 31, 2008
This 'Weevil' is impressive as it is sharp and detailed and its colour appears beautifully on the countless small, white flowers.
Among the approximately 40 000 species , it looks a lot like the 'Balaninus hazelnuts' (Curculio nucum). This identification is only my opinion, for the time being.
Congratulations and thank you to shot a documentary.

Bou Diou that it is beautiful, if it was bigger it would definitely be a pet..
Map and depth of field perfect, congratulations

> Levaleton [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Aug 31, 2008
Here is finally a true macro !
It takes a lot of preparation, patience, experience, and a good walk.
Remarkable mastery of the depth of field and the lighting (perhaps a ring flash ?), given the magnification. Excellent work, slightly impaired by a background/support a little dense.
Levaleton.

While there, I was far to imagine a snout like that With all the details of your photo, you can see that it is well-equipped to do damage. I put it in my favorites to show it to those who do not know the specimen.

> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Aug 31, 2008
When we know the size of the weevil... This image is exceptional ! A shame that his environment is a bit loaded, but

> Ninik [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Aug 31, 2008
This weevil is very nice, seen this way.
The colors, the presentation and especially the sharpness impress me. It is a beautiful photo.
Without the commentary, it gives the impression (to me) to be in varnished wood.

> Camelia [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Aug 31, 2008
AH ! The dirty beast I see now that it has eaten all my corn a superb image well net

> JC [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Aug 30, 2008
Your cliché with such a magnification is of exceptional clarity just on the subject of Bravo not obvious to succeed.

Hello, your picture is perfect, I know that you also use a flash 280T with your K10D. I would like you to tell me how. And thank you cordially.
