This photo is beautiful ! I had never had the opportunity to see a butterfly up close. For example their eyes : they are very small and therefore hardly visible, and yet on this photo we can see so well that does not see the effect of the zooms, and so we can see the small details. Otherwise the quality and sharpness its perfect. It is the work of a pro ! Congratulations

Superb photo, very impressive for what is close: the details are accurate, I would have liked to see a little more out there behind.

This is the super macro. It is impressive to see the details of the head of a butterfly hanging from the flower color rutile.

This macro of the butterfly 'Leucone' (Idea Leucone) is extraordinary for its sharpness and its details : colors, designs, eye and antennae. The presentation is gorgeous : bravo and thank you.

Thank you to all of you

The sigma 180 mm is a superb lens, just need to learn to master weight

On this butterfly-idea leuconoe, I have several shots correct, you will see that later

Odo, yes the butterflies have organs of hearing

A closeup of a razor-sharp, your aim is excellent and I think the advantage of this co, it is precisely its focal length of 180mm, which becomes the equivalent of a 270mm mounted on your DSLR, without having to get too close to the subject and grow to the maximum.

I am really amazed by what you can do with your SIGMA 180mm macro.
You did, however, a minimum focus of 46cm so that your photo seems to be taken at 2 cm .
Is there a trick ?
