Author 'Ed' A voir (Id 187234 ) : I wanted to take a plaice in the photo, the opportunity presented itself one evening in Fouras, where the rain was asked, I found the result sad so the color I switched to monochrome.

A beautiful shot well managed, which pleases me. Low contrasts give it a special effect and makes the atmosphere that you have been able to convey. very black and thick seems to me severe.

What is a plaice for you ? Also of fish ? We could buy nets, lift nets, which were fish fillets, which bear this name.

Your photo reflects well the calm that reigns around the squares, irrespective of the region of the atlantic coast where they are located.

I love these squares, I saw them last year during my vacation between la Rochelle and Rochefort, I took some of them and the idea of putting in black and white is well-imagined... bravo

You have done well, the atmosphere thus reconstituted is more credible and say that in one of my roundabout in my city, the landscape architects have established a plaice of a blue as it can be seen that the edge of the sea and a bright white, I would have liked the post but there are a lot of electrical wires, then, I hesitate, I prefer the 'real' like yours, thank you Ed for this beautiful shot

Even though for me, the contrasts are a bit weak, the picture is well drawn.
