Author 'Daniel78' (Id 246512 ) : Tristan Corbière was born on the 18/07/1845 in Morlaix (Finistère). He died in the same city the 01/03/1874 to 29 years. He leads a life of the marginal and impoverished, nourished by two major failures due to his bone disease and its 'ugliness'. Paul Verlaine is revealed to the public at large in his essay ' The Poets maudits. The poet who dreamed of being a marine was not able to satisfy his desire to run to the seas, in spite of his passionate love for it. It has only experienced a life of solitude, brief, and miserable, and constantly reached in his flesh by the disease, unhappy in love.

I admire this wonderful gift that you have to make poetry not only rhymes, but also in the acrostic with so many feelings. TB+.

Thank you very much Ninik to have enjoyed this acrostic. I love this kind of exercise even if it is not the most appreciated in poetry. In this contest, the acrostic is not often an award-winning.

I like to put in a page this kind of poem. An acrostic on a person makes it better if her portrait is attached. Thank you for your appreciation.

Daniel, a superb poem which pays tribute to all the unfortunate poet's destiny broken before being born !
