Praying Mantis Macro 01

Author 'WebMaster FEI' A voir (Id 68555 ) : Macro of a 'charming' praying mantis burgundy who was willing to pose for me.
Two weeks before meeting this lovely lady, I validais a photo on FEI telling me that these bébettes were really impressive and I would love to see one in real life.
My hope has been heightened .

As for the framing, between the antennae, and his huge paw (it looks like timing), I've had no other choice than the focus.
I would have much liked to have the tip of the antenna net but with my digital camera today .

Despite all that, I love this macro, and you ?

Bravo for taking the view that this stolen moment, perfectly framed. Very nice sharpness of the subject with a background more blurred the grasshopper is good value. You have the camera of my dreams.

Bravo super photo: beautiful praying mantis, its green foliage reminiscent of the green behind! Beautiful clarity that highlights the praying mantis.

Excellent portrait of this mantis in a full meal.
It is thus that she carries her prey to the mouth, by impaling between the 'hand' and the spikes of the forearm !

A beautiful shot that is not conducive to pet the critter ! When I was a kid, one day I see on the back of my grand-mother is a huge beast ! I'm not telling you my fear because manu militari, I have been ordered to release it without fanfare with the bare hand !

It doesn't hurt your praying mantis, but the twigs of the right angle disrupt a little bit the concentration. A long time ago that I did not preview such a critter.

Thou hast reason to love this macro which is superb. The posture of the praying mantis I like a lot. Bravo.

The position of this praying Mantis makes me think of a violinist. Again, my imagination takes over. The subject a little more to the right, it was perfect.

A small scissor-kick to the right, to the flower of the antenna, and this is perfect.
We regret a little that the mouth is hidden by the lower jaw.

Face and legs are-perfect sharpness and definition, a pity that all the body is not in tune, it remains magnificent

Web, I reconnaitrai always your pictures. Was a time, I used the same kind of framing. Now, I'm trying a different style. We'll see...

Localized ! You were an hour from home... And you had to come up here for the meet ! We were actually praying mantises by us ! Not seen many this year, large predatory as we can see here. Shot of great quality, I regret a little the presence of the white stems in the top right which diverts attention from the subject. It is the extra
