Very beautiful flower, I confirm the proposal for the Fada Marseille. It is a aechméa, but beware of the thorns end of leaves, ouch it stings.

THIS is the aechméa 'red flamingo inflorescense'. It is an exotic plant, a native of Mexico, who might enjoy the inside of a house. Most species have spines, but others have not. There is a choice. It is a plant that is not demanding, she would also prefer the sun than the shade. It produces the flowering stem nuanced of a red flower and white.

The flower is beautiful and I surf the net to identify it. It does not seem to be a 'Balisier' or 'Héliconia' of the family of Heliconiacées. I'm going to follow in the 'Bromeliacées' ! May-be I would have hand more happy to pick the name of this beautiful flower, red spotted with white, which makes it superbly as wallpaper : bravo and thank you.

I'll look for a héliconia or a bird of paradise, with a belief a little stronger for the héliconia. But our specialists flowers are going well we find this little riddle...

The flower is very pretty but I don't know the name as almost always.
