Red rose 20110507

Author 'Henri H' (Id 147699 ) : A red rose, unpretentious and offered no other ambition than to rob us. I darkened the background to avoid the grounds of the background do not flower. The lighting is indirect because I did not want to see distorted by the reflection of the flash.

+: The rose is beautiful, a beautiful red not easy to photograph, it is your garden? : 18:

-:I find it a little too tight? Perhaps also a square formation? But it is a choice: 5:

Hello Camelia. Very happy to see you on the site. It actually picked a flower in our garden. Do you smell the perfume that emanates from? I tried to keep the intensity of red. That's why I did not use the flash. And I agree with you, the framing is too tight. The initial size left me more room above. And when I had posted on the website and view the square format seemed more appropriate. But too late. Thank you for your passage and your comments and look forward to reviewing your submissions soon.

Hello Fan Belfort. I agree with you on the framing. Initially, the photo was 4752 x 3168 pixels, and thus had more of 'margins' external. But, rescaled maximum for FEI format, I lost a little edge. I do not know how to reduce the size without losing the content. Thank you very much for the comment and implementation favorites.

This rose is simply superb. Hlogistic thank you. It seems to me it lacks a bit of lighting.

Hello labrum. Yes, I realized that taken indoors. In the series I 'photographed', many were made by flash. They did not please me as too bright. So I preferred to work in indirect light of day. But it is true that I lost a bit of sudden brightness. If you want the edit, I would like to see the result. Thank you anyway for having put it in your favorites.
