Refuge at the end of the path dented

Author 'Domicollangette' (Id 192147 ) : In the background, the refuge of the Rajas (Aubrac) that we just leave it... If u look at the time, vs will see that it is not a very early morning with friends... But, the big advantage is that the rain stopped !
Ns leave, under a timid sun, by this way, it dented and dug out of ruts...
It is the way of St Guilhem.

it reminds me of the small paths similar borrowed during hikes. The panorama is splendid and wild loss of sight.

Thank you for your comments ! It was nearly flying off the day before, (without wanting to) so the wind was blowing and we glaçait. But, we had found a corner nice, at the edge of a wood, and sheltered from the wind, for a picnic ! However, in the evening, we said package for our 'ascent' to the Signal de Mailhe-Biau (1469m, pt peak of the Aubrac) because wind, more fog !

Skyline view... tranquil beauty of nature that the hand of man had yet spared. Bravo for this splendid photo.

This path is the one that I took to the road of St Jacques ? Because this project is for next year. Your photo shows well the landscape of plains and desert that awaits the pilgrim in his long journey.

Hello Monique. This photo was taken towards the hut of the Rajas (which was filmed a scene from the movie Muriel Robin : 'StJacques-Mecca') is not on the path of St Jacques, but on the way of St Guilhem le Desert.
But, there are, in fact, a part common to 2 paths : from Aumont-Aubrac to St Chely d'aubrac (by Montgros, Nasbinals, Aubrac) and landscapes with 360-degree views, wonderful ! Here, I hope that I have answered your question ! I wish you a good trip... Alleviates the bag most of all !!!

Hello, nice shot. I like these places a little desert and I found it a little bit in the landes of brittany in some places.

Pretty landscape where we can see follow this path to go see this house in the hollow before going to see further what lies behind the nipple. A pity that the format is a bit small to appreciate the details of the scene. (see enclosed link).

I can well imagine hurry down the rocky path to the exit at the bottom and go frolicking on the grass the most sweet to my ankles and then discover what is beyond the hill. panorama nice .
Small problem : you were under a cloud that darkens the path ; perhaps he would have had to wait for it to pass... but your friends were the parties ! The next time, it will be necessary to hike without these friends who do not care about the constraints of the photographer .

Hey yes, cloud and fog in the morning which went and returned 'Otherwise, yes, it would be necessary to do a hike with 'photographers'... Because they are case-sensitive (a little) the feet, the other hikers to always stop !!! And me, I spend my day trying to 'pick the pack' !!!

This is the kind of way that I like to borrow it... feel far away from everything, in the middle of nature, in the calm and peace... for me, it allows me to dream... Thank you for this beautiful shot based.

Happy to make you dream !
The photo is not extraordinary... It would have taken more time but my co-walkers (not 'connected' in the photo) were quoted and it is tiring always having to catch up to those that are before
In short, I am a fan of the great spaces of desert of preference (Aubrac, Causses and the Sahara) where you can see far away
