Thank you Gypsy for your passage and your comment. I find me too that this house is superb.

It is true that they are very beautiful these typical houses.... And there is good on the inside ! It is very beautiful your picture, Cathy, but I'm like Anne, I think that there is too much gravel, so... A panoramic format by cutting a little of the bottom to me would seem more appropriate...

And yes I agree, but I will have to learn how to do this format !!!

A little too smooth the restoration, the lower stone is stressed. But they were able to keep the asymmetry of origin by locating a large glass door on the side.
Even if we agree with Lumixane, your composition is part of the gravel, giving the whole a-band in the image, equivalent to those of the building and the sky (for real this time, it must be stressed). The old farm seems to be on a base with supreme elegance, the shade of a cable forming a line which shows us the way.

Hello Spiros. And yes, this time the sky was really blue and if you notice it is much more natural and harmonious than anything you persist, Golondrina and you press on the photos where the sky is grey (of course !!!). In short, this is another topic. You are hard with the renovation : all the stones are not highlighted and they have not tried to rectify the irregularity, as some do !!! For great bay, I think they have taken advantage of the initial opening of the barn which had to be contiguous to the farm and it is a great idea in my opinion to bring in light naturally. Thank you for your passage.

Congrats for the beautiful photo and congratulations to the owners not to have anything changed, just spruced up. If only everyone would do the same !

In France, people are increasingly careful to respect the style of the houses when they restore and it is very good !!! Sometimes the law obliges them to do so, when the house is located in a classified site.

Accurate Manu, but they have bucked up without the transform, and it is super !!!

How lucky to have some to be able to live in this kind of environment. It is very beautiful.

Thank you for your passage Ninik ; they have luck and they also had the intelligence to restore this beautiful house, respecting its basic architecture.

A house where he must make a good living, can be a bit too much gravel for my taste... But it is, no doubt, a secondary residence, simplification ! What I have never dream.

It is, in effect, a secondary house and I took the photo through the grate of the portal. But in the area where I live, to have a garden correct in summer it must be watered, which is not always possible, nor allowed !!! They have, however, on the side a large space of grass with various trees.
