Author 'Mady' (Id 248127 ) : The Trophy of the Alps or Trophy of Augustus) is a roman monument memorial dating back to 7-6 av J. -C., Located in the commune of La Turbie (Alpes-Maritimes), overlooking the principality of Monaco
He was raised in honour of the roman emperor Augustus
And celebrates the victory as the final forty-five tribes that previously stymied the multiple alpine passes.

For me it is always moving to see old stones. These remains, of which a part is well preserved, are well developed on a background of blue sky, .
