Roman bridge

Author 'Cheepp' (Id 124812 ) : Here is a Roman bridge which is located inside the south of France, I leave you to find the place, maybe not too easy, not Nimes and Arles is the place where I spent all childhood. Beside that bridge when I was a kid this was a wooden bridge for vehicles, now the bridge is concrete asphalt. Who will be the first or the first to give me the right answer?

Hello, I think it is the Roman Bridge (Pont Flavien) St. Chamas in Department 13. Maybe this is the right answer, even if it's not good, the shooting of this bridge is very beautiful. Good day everyone and see you soon. A small Mayennais who greet you all, mimi53.

It is in Saint Chamas. This is the Pont Flavien. It is an ancient Roman bridge placed on the Roman road linking Marseille to Arles, in the extension of the Via Aurelia. Touloubre It spans the entrance to Saint-Chamas in the Bouches-du-Rhone. It bears the name of its sponsor, a certain Flavius Claudius Donnius Le Pont Flavien been a classification as historical monuments since 1840. Engraved in stone this inscription: C. DONNIVS. FC FLAVOS FLAMEN. ROMA. AVGVSTI. TESTAMENTO. FIEREI. IVSSIT. ARBITRATV. DONNEI C, Vena. AND. C. ATTEIA. RVFEI. Translation: Donnius Flavus Claudius, son of Claudius, priest of Rome and Augustus, ordered by his will to build this bridge and the arches, under the direction of C. Vena Donnius and C. Attius Rufus. Did I say? Nice picture anyway. Regards.

Ninik Hello, I would like the picture could do in similar but there was the stage at the back, and I found worse. I did it the other way in a row but there were also cars, not pretty either, for a Roman bridge: 7:. Thank you and more.
