Author 'Ninik' (Id 140851 ) : Temple of Vespasian, there are only three Corinthian columns and a fragment of a frieze of this beautiful temple built in honor of the Emperor Vespasian, deified by his son Titus. Letters, once in bronze, it remains that fingerprints and small holes. The remains, unearthed by Valadier in 1811, formed a right angle from the front of the building which was reached by a staircase leading to the clivus Capitolinus. Vespasian, who accedes to power in 69 after a troubled period during which many claimants to the succession of Nero will try to become emperor, establish hereditary succession based on male primogeniture. He told the Senate that his son will succeed him or he would have no successor. Titus undertake the work of the temple in the death of his father. His brother Domitian, who succeeded him on the throne, will complete the work.
