Ruddy Turnstone necklace

Author 'Rene.verges' (Id 50397 ) : The Ruddy Turnstone laying on a rock seems a bit sad, perhaps because of the arrival of the winter with its storms and its cold.

With the focal length used, (equiv to 400mm in 24/36), for the sharpness, you didn't go out not too bad ! Little aside to all... In general use a speed at least equal to the focal length used ! Here is the 1/500 which would have agreed, but... It would have had then more light here is managed to its maximum(ISOet opening ++) ! Grr... What a puzzle picture !

Apart from the part of leg missing and a slight blur on the feathers, this bird 'Tounepierre to collar' (Arenaria interpres) is beautiful and well put in value and it pleases me a lot in his posture. Too nice, your Panda ! Bravo and thank you, René.

I have already observed the Tournepierre that, for finding food, return stones, sea shells and pebbles with vivacity and dexterity. At 1/125s with this long focal length, it should not shake.

I think he has a little cold and that he stands like this to keep his heat, lack of sharpness.

The bird is very well taken but it seems to lack sharpness and light contrast !
