Sanderlings Sandpiper

Author 'Louise' A voir (Id 104060 ) : Not easy to photograph these little sandpipers, it looks like their legs are mounted on casters. They come looking for food in the sand following the movement of waves.

Hello Jofu, in the winter they re-make their appearance and I like to follow with their eyes when they move out on to the sand in search of food. Thank you for your comment and have them put in your favorites.

The framing is well done, the attitude of the birds and the reflections are seductive, .

I have a similar picture, but unfortunately with a poorer light. Here, the light is beautiful and the parade is very well understood. Also, bravo: 1:: 5:.

Of life ... These small jets, such thin legs and dark eyes draw the scene with great charm. Like a parade, with their own uniform although there are two that can take a look at photographer! : 18:: 6:

> Gg54 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 10, 2010
A very nice picture not easy because it moves all the time these creatures, and if you add the movement of water, the development is not always where you want! Bravo: 3: Thank your like on my bench. Friendships.

Superb framing of these birds "funny" with beautiful reflections. The gray-blue water gives the whole a pleasant sweetness: 3:: 3:.

Mimi Really, this small group of sandpipers with beautiful reflections. They are in search of food such as bloodworms, I suppose, or small crustaceans? Caught on the fly, nice shot. : 3:

> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 04, 2010
It is especially beautiful and cute to see and observe their reflections in the water. A very beautiful picture. : 1:: 5:

1: A very beautiful picture! This group of sandpipers and their reflections are very good shots. If there was the sea bottom, we believe they operate on ice. The presentation is more pleasant. I love! Bravo Louise.

A total harmony emerges from this splendid photo, the birds had been plastic I think it would have taken place in exactly this way! Pastel colors, reflections magical, unusual birds, framing and rewarding, you have succeeded is a masterstroke, hats off! : 1:: 3:

Because they are cute! Not easy to approach all these nice and small shorebirds. How lucky to have done such a cliche and probably patience: 3:: 6:: 6:

Congratulations, we notice that they move constantly (blur) but they are forgiven because they are all really cute: 6: and beautifully presented. 5:

> Author Louise [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 04, 2010
Lumixane thank you for your comment, they move quickly and fly even faster. I noticed that some had only one leg (like the first) are at the same pace.

In my opinion, the first has its foot back somewhere ... Do not you think? : 18:

No I do not think it works with others. His one leg seems bigger and certainly more developed. I like to observe them walking my dog on the beach. There are a few with this infirmity, but they accommodate it very well.

> Vivianor [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 04, 2010
Too funny, all in the same direction and with a reflection Bonus: 3:!

> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 04, 2010
A marvel, this picture! Although sharpness is not ... clear: 4: it seems to have no importance here! Without shelling, it gives me a great feeling. : 6:
