Shadow and light in the mountains

Author 'Jofu' (Id 248389 ) : This is a photo of a waterfall taken in the vicinity of Cauterets (Hautes Pyrénées). Why this B&B ? For, in my opinion, better bring out the contrast of light and dark.

I prefer the version in b&B. What is interesting is the strong contrast between the black areas and white areas. The installation is actually successful, and I think that you have forced on the contrasts. Personally, I would have framed more tightly, in order to reduce the dark areas at the top and to the right.

Thank you for your passage. Yes, I have a bit of increased contrast. I don't have framed tighter because I thought the cascade would have been more to the right and and that and we would have had the impression that it came out of the frame.

Beautiful milky effect on the water, did you use a filter An interesting contrast, a little dark pet be on the edge of the photo, but this is only my taste

Yes, I used a foot and a filter. The interest for me was the contrast between the lit areas and the dark areas. Thank You Mady.
