Shelter on the lake Norway

Author 'Grognon' (Id 202194 ) : A small lake near Stavanger in Norway.
Although it is summer, the temperature and light were cold.
Don't ask me what is the small building on the lake, part of perches for the seagull to see.

Damage to the buildings in the background.
I tried to make them disappear, but it would not let me approach them with dynamite.

The hut whatever it is fits well into the landscape. Your picture is nice, clear and successful . Rather than the dynamic, the pads of Photoshop or Photofiltre is sufficient to remove such undesirable that these buildings . However, it does not detract from the quality of your photo. Maybe by cutting off the bottom up to the branch with a single sheet would have been nice. But this is only an opinion .

This hut with a pointed roof made out of the mountain and its curves smooth, nice composition.

I love the elegance of the shades of gray, and the incongruity of this small house on stilts.

I wouldn't mind going to a daydream in this log cabin and spy on the birds of passage, thank you for this nice template all smooth , Didi.

Hello, a beautiful shot full of sweetness. The format I like, and the set is very beautiful.

I love the ambiance of this place and would be happy to arrange a day, the apn on the wrist ! If it really is a bird observatory, is that we should see these, right ? A beautiful rendering that makes you want to make the trip...

The cabin fits me well with his reflection buildings : not annoying, but if you want to get rid of it no need to dynamite a small stroke of the buffer is sufficient By contrast, I find the format too long vertically, I couperais a little at the bottom to return to for example 800 x 1067 format (4/3 or 3/4 in this sense). But this is only my taste

Mady, you're not wrong to report a possible planing, the square format would not have been bad either, by cutting just above the leaf that wanders alone to the right. The overall gains in balance. However if you sugar the greenery, the birds will not be happy. TB

Congratulations for the photo and for the discovery of this nature corner

You know what, Grouchy ? The picture could be nice also in making a clean sweep of the cabin - blows of the buffer, or dynamite - it seems to be perched on the remains of a pillar of a bridge. Each element would have found its place without juxtaposition. That said, I like what I have under the eyes, support, and reflection have found enough to nestle comfortably between the branches of the willow tree, the building, starting quietly to the onslaught of the hills. A good smooth room under a sky well lived.

Yurts, tree houses, shelters on the water ? Destinations are very trendy to spend a weekend off the beaten path. Then added or not to the hut and seagull ? Not that I want te break the bank.

No, no gimmicks.
In fact, it is a shelter for bird watching on the lake Mosvannet. It is a wild space within Stavanger and is known for the wide variety of birds that it houses.

Strange this house in the middle of the water. A refuge for aquatic birds can be.
it could also be the 'hut' which derives in 'Le petit baigneur', but I don't see a leg in plaster, which exceeds.
Good composition that gives depth to your shot.
A B+.

A large depth of field which allows us to assess all of the plans with a nice sharpness... very nice photo, Grumpy !

The building on the lake ? Its usefulness is obvious. It is there to give a subject to be photographed
The point of view and the framing is well chosen. I wonder if the N&B would not have strengthened your image that stands out for its visual design, its color, and has a sky with matter, conducive to the treatment of N&B.
It is a pleasant image to look at, and which raises the question in front of this building on the lake. B+.
