Sinocalycalycanthus X Raulstonii Hartlage Wine

Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 196831 ) : 'Sinocalycalycanthus X Raulstonii Hartlage Wine' it is not easy to remember name this extraordinary recent crossing (where the X in its name) between a Chinese herb, and an American.
This plant with large flowers 8/10cm in diameter has an original bordeaux wine with a fragrance of wine.
It flowers in April/may and back in August/September, it is resistant to -20°C and has a rapid growth adapting to any type of soil... in sum, a plant easy to grow and undemanding.

I think that it is unknown to all, as any recent, a lovely big flower, shame about the colour, I would have liked it to be otherwise, but pretty all the same, thank you Mady for your comment left under this photo.

On the photo, this flower looks small :13 to: a trompe-eye, because it is a beautiful and big flower, shame about the colours, I'm not too fan of this one, but a beautiful elegance, to this I agree, thank you Judith for letting me your opinion on this new coming

A name has extension and not simple to pronounce, but she is very pretty. It makes me think of a peony that has lost its petals. Great discovery, thanks for having submitted.

I don't know where these biologists will look for the name of the flowers but for this one, they have not hesitated for who can remember a name extension such as this one, and yet, the Web has not recorded in its entirety it is still a very beautiful new variety, and I hope she will be appreciated and that you find it in gardens, because it deserves it, thank you Pearl for giving me your opinion in this photo.

This is a great plant and have little room for the importance to give to it, although these big flowers, I was well flattered, maybe if I take the decision to remove a mature hedge which me 'beard' that I wanted to replace it with bamboo and plant other large plants, I see, well in August because I have work to do at home and probably still in the garden, thank you Cathy for this first comment on this new coming
