Small currencies Dominican Republic

Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 102154 ) : Some currencies reduced from my trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, it is not uncommon to see in town or city rather bogus (because Punta Cana is not only the images that we want to show you by the 'through the media, a lot of poverty), with the Dominicans in the hands of these bundles of banknotes that have little or no value and are proud to count them before you (first little editing, not too severe criticism) Thanks.

Great editing and very successful... Fund card also, everything is harmoniously arranged... I also keep a great souvenir of the dominican republic, except the output or at the airport they were looking for something, we never knew what, but my suitcase had been previously diverted to the hotel and found in a bus bound for italy !!! Always is it that I stayed for an hour with the dog-wolves, and the customs, enclosed in a hangard or they spent all comb without find nothing... It marked me... I will never know what was the muddle !!! But what a beautiful island (part...) and the natives are so friendly despite their difficulties of life... But I am out of the heart of the matter !!!

Hello Louise, on the notes there are primarily 2 beautiful mustaches; on the ticket 10 (diez pesos oro) they are Matias Ramon Mella born February 25, 1816, he became a national hero for the Dominican Republic, the other on the ticket 20 (veinte pesos oro), it was Gregorio Luperón (September 8, 1839, Puerto Plata, died on 21 but in 1897 he was a patriot, general, and revolutionary provisional president of the Dominican Republic today He has a monument to Puerto Plata and the airport bears his name. Two great statesmen whose history is very interesting. Well, thank you for taking care of this little criticism mounting.

Nicole thank you for the information. These two great men deserve the tribute paid on the notes.
