Snow Crystals

Author 'Julicarm' A voir (Id 188159 ) : The surprise at the development, have a good highlight the snow crystals on the front...
The tit seems to be so comfortably installed in its bed of lace, and yet it is so cold...
Their plumage is well sealed..
The 'Thermolactyl' should reflect on this privilege

This tit sitting comfortably in his bed of lace must certainly suffer from the cold. I should have clarified a little bit the snow to bring the brightness

Bravo for this superb shooting in the snow, it brings out the beautiful colors of this tit.

Oh it is beautiful this blue tit ! Such beautiful colours in its plumage... She had not the air of being cold on the lace of the snow ?...

Then there's this tit swim in the wadding... And it is important not to erase the stem that gives balance to the shot.
See you soon. A. L.

Very nice ambience cottony for this beautiful zozio. In my opinion, you would have just had to erase the trunk. But, it is already pretty as well

I just spend a long time to immerse myself in the two versions, the Web and the original, I love the snow the first but all of a sudden the bird loses these words, so touching here, as a little lost... I like...

> Athena625 >Reply Dec 15, 2012
Beautiful, truly beautiful this close up ! It seems almost that the tit is on the cotton ball !

> JC [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 11, 2012

The 'freshness' does not seem to trouble her more than that. Have you checked that it is not taken in the ice ? . I can make out of the crystals on its head, proving that his hat is well padded . That said, this is a beautiful image that you presents to us there, well sharp, well pricked

This blue tit is very cute and beautifully clear. Splendid presentation on the snow in contrast with the grey sky with its two flake white. Splendid posture and stoic posture of the bird : bravo Julie and thank you.

Actually we can see the crystals of snow, the chickadee has two of them on the head.
Nice photo smooth.

You develop your photos, Julie ? I don't know the research on the Thermolactyl but it is not excluded that the plumages of the birds have been put on the spot. Very cute, this tit covered in snow

Thou liest, or you get up there ?
Because it is not at all your hours, it seems to me... Hè ! Hè.

> Labrume [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 05, 2012
Looks like lying on cotton, this small-tit, as she seems to feel good.
We can see the detail of the crystals and it is a most undeniable fact.

> Papillon [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 05, 2012
Wow... A photo very pleasant to see, the little throne on the snow, still fresh and duveteusement crowned flakes.
In the foreground, and just on the bottom edge of the photo, it looks like the head of a cat with one ear hidden under the snow.
Thank you, Julicarm, and bravo.

> Gipsy34 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Dec 05, 2012
It has air refrigerated this little blue tit. She is beautiful in her big coat, all white. Thank you for this beautiful photo Julie.

> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 05, 2012
Still a great tit, in the snow almost of the batting. Not quite white but as you say it was grey . I love the snowflake on her beautiful head.

> Nicole.beaume [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Dec 05, 2012
Nice cliché nature, it is very beautiful this blue tit with a few crystals on the head.
A+++ JULIE.

> WebMaster FEI [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Dec 05, 2012
I like it a lot.
As always it is the small detail of the snowflake on the head of the tit that makes all the charm of this photo.
For me also, a few flakes have fallen and the birds have come. Your snow is a little gray, no ?
Have you thought to under-expose when shooting, useful when photographing in the snow.
Or, failing that, have you ever tried to make an adjustment of the white in post-processing ?

We click in setting the scenery of snow when there is sun and therefore high brightness...
But when the sky is heavy with snow and as it falls, you know the atmosphere, it is necessary to put the headlights in the middle of the day... It was the case..
If I had under exposed, it would have made night
The balance of white, no blue cast, that would not make large thing..
It only remained to increase the light in post processing but, this is not pretty, it faded..
So what to do ?
Grey is the snow, but grey is the time, you can not change the natural, without that it seems fake..
Obliged to keep the speeds a little high, it does not help to light.
If you have other ideas...
Thank you for your passage
